It is the mission of NAHCA to elevate the
professional standing and performance of
frontline caregivers. This can be achieved
many ways, especially through education. By
educating each and every caregiver, we are
giving the gift of
empowerment. Education provides the
necessary tools for caregivers to become
advocates on behalf of their own profession
and on the behalf of our nation’s frail,
elderly and disabled citizens.
So how can you help? Join the cause!
Beginning February 1, 2010, NAHCA and ACHP
will kick of the 1st annual premier
fundraising event,
Stepping Up for Quality.
This month long
walkathon will record every hard working
step taken by our frontline caregivers
across the country.
Contributions will be collected by
the participants throughout the month of
February and proceeds will go directly to
elevating the education and profession of
CNAs’, therefore supporting quality
improvements in Long Term Care.
NAHCA Academy of Certified Health
Professionals, a 501(c)(3) educational
entity, provides state of the art continuing
education, recruiting and CARE FORCE
development.
NAHCA is excited to offer such a
benefit to our members.
Because of your commitment, and
contribution, funds will be used to step up
quality each and every day.
